We are currently seeking a Contracts Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate should be a self-motivated, highly organised individual, with experience managing several jobs and installation teams simultaneously in the civil engineering sector.
As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing projects under your supervision and ensuring quality and consistency of workmanship of site teams. You will liaise with site Supervisors and clients, review and amend terms within contracts, and manage the post-contract process through to completion and handover. You will establish and execute effective site programmes, manage cost-effective purchasing, source labour and materials, and ensure Health and Safety compliance meets current regulations. You will work closely with the Field Operations Manager to assist in the effective management of projects of all sizes.

The ideal candidate for this role should have a good understanding and technical knowledge of the construction industry, experience in Health and Safety management, and a valid SMSTS, Driver’s Licence, and Passport. Excellent numeracy and literacy are essential, with a minimum level A-C (Grade 4+) GCSE (or equivalent).
You will be expected to work Monday to Friday, 0800-1700hrs, mainly from our clients Head office in Billericay, Essex. However, you should be flexible in working hours to meet the needs of the business. You will be seconded to site teams around the UK for up to 6 months for practical training, which will include spending time away.
